T4 On The Beach Facebook Application

Requirements:More Magazine ran a promotion at the T4 On The Beach festival where attendees got their photo taken and posted to a website.
They were then to find their photo and tag themselves, which would be posted to their wall and drive their friends to the site.
A strong social media element was required to encourage the young audience to use the site.
Our Solution:Arctic Kiwi integrated with several Facebook components and developed the site with photo tagging functionality.
Use of the Facebook “like” component, along with photo tagging and wall posting rounded out the solution. The application was linked to from the More Magazine Facebook page, and participants were required to become fans of the page prior to entering.
All of this encouraged uptake of the site and prompted a participants friends to browse the site too, thereby raising awareness of the magazine.
The site was capable of storing and retrieving thousands of images and handling load spikes throughout the campaign, and reported back to the agency the usage and popularity.
