Another upgrade to Matchbook gives the power to users to upload lists of contacts now.
You can upload Excel, Openoffice, CSV and Google spreadsheet documents, customise the fields and automatically tag them as you upload.
If you have a ‘tag’ column with ‘Leads: warm’ then the contact you’re importing will be tagged with the tag named ‘warm’ with tag type ‘Leads’.
Hopefully this functionality will be useful if you’re importing big spreadsheets with your contacts already categorised.
Further enhancements should speed up some page load times which were struggling with massive contact lists. We’ll continue to monitor performance and tune the app accordingly.
Scott has made the default banner a bit more sexy but user’s will still have the capability to upload their own banner to personalise the system.
Additionally we’ve done some work to streamline the sign up process through Google and improved our marketing site.
Matchbook has now been submitted to the Google App Marketplace and will hopefully be approved in the next couple of days with a view to appearing in the wild on Tuesday.
